I can't log in: what does the warning on the screen mean?
The warnings on the sign-in page tell you the cause of the problem; the most common are a wrong password, an unverified email and too many attempts.
The “Log in” button stays gray until both the email and password fields are filled in. The warnings mean the following:
- “Incorrect email or password.”: the address or password was typed incorrectly. If you don't remember your password, use “Forgot your password?” to reset it.
- “Your email address isn’t verified yet.”: the verification link sent after sign-up hasn't been clicked yet.
- “Too many attempts.”: too many attempts were made in a short time. Wait a few minutes and try again.
- “We couldn’t reach the server.”: check your internet connection and try again.
If you don't have an account, sign up with the “Try it free” link at the bottom of the sign-in page.
