What's the difference between deleting a brand and canceling my subscription?
“Delete brand” permanently deletes the brand and all of its data but doesn't touch your subscription; “Cancel subscription” stops renewal and doesn't delete your data.
These are two separate actions. Both sit on separate cards at the very bottom of the Settings › Subscription and billing page.
Delete brand: permanently deletes the brand and the answers, mentions, sources, scores, tasks and prompt set processed so far. This can't be undone; to confirm, you need to type the brand name exactly. Your subscription is not canceled by this action.
Cancel subscription: renewal stops and no new charges are made. Your plan stays active until the end of the period; on that date, scans stop. Your brands and data aren't deleted. You can change your mind with “Undo cancellation” before the period ends.
If you're on a trial, you don't need to cancel; a paid subscription doesn't start automatically when the trial ends.
If you only want to stop scans without deleting the brand, you can clear the “Schedule active” checkbox in Settings › Scans and click “Save schedule”.
